PACIFIC 12Ll4 is a leaded, resulfurized and rephosphorized grade with the highest machinability rating of standard AISI/SAE grades. It is particularly adaptable to automatic screw machines and produces an excellent surface finish. Welding is not recommended because of the high sulfur content. It can be case hardened with light to moderate case depths.
